Grammy winner LORDE, and others! 17 years old, Really? I'll be watching this one here!

EW Zealand's 17-year-old pop sensation Lorde has won her second Grammy Award for her hit song Royals, taking the song of the year title at the annual music ceremony in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the evening the young singer collected her first Grammy for the same song, winning best pop solo performance.

She beat out Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars to claim the award, and thanked her rivals during her acceptance speech.

"This is the one thing that I did not expect the most about tonight,'' Lorde said.

"I have been so inspired by all of your vocal work at some point in my life, so thank you,'' she said of her rivals.

Lorde, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, stormed through international charts last year with Royals, her genre-defying tale of aspirational luxury. With the song, Lorde became the first act from New Zealand to top the Billboard chart in the US.

Lorde lost out on the record of the year trophy, which went to Get Lucky by Daft Punk (feat Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers).

Aussie artists the Greencards, Keith Urban, Baz Luhrmann, Tame Impala and Hiatus Kayote were all unsuccessful in their categories.

The Australian Chamber Orchestra enjoyed success however. The album on which they performed, Winter Morning Walks, collected four Grammys, including best classical vocal solo for singer Dawn Upshaw and best contemporary classical composition for its composer Maria Schneider.

Rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cleaned up at the Grammys.

The rap duo won best new artist as well as best rap album for The Heist, beating efforts from Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Kanye West and Drake.

"Wow, we're here on the stage right now," said Macklemore, thanking fans first, then his fiance and team. "I want to say we made this album without a record label, we made it independently and we appreciate all the support."

Beyonce kicked off the Grammy Awards with steamy and smoky performance of Drunk In Love: She started on a chair and then grinded in a revealing black outfit. Jay Z emerged in a fitted suit to rap his verse, and the couple held hands and danced together.

LL Cool J is hosting the 56th annual awards, airing live on CBS.

Macklemore & Lewis' wins, which include best rap song and rap performance for Thrift Shop, come after the Grammy rap committee almost ousted the duo from its categories. A source told The Associated Press that the rap committee rejected the duo, but that was later overruled by the general Grammy committee. The source, who attended the general Grammy meeting, spoke on the condition of anonymity because the meeting was private.

Macklemore & Lewis are also nominated for album and song of the year.

Timberlake won two awards, including best R&B song for Pusher Love Girl and music video for "Suit & Tie," which also earned Jay Z a Grammy. Engineer Bob Ludwig and gospel singer Tye Tribett are also double winners.

Adele, who dominated the Grammys two years ago, was also an early winner. The British singer won best song written for visual media for Skyfall, which also won an Oscar and Golden Globe last year.

Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Imagine Dragons and Daft Punk were also early winners.

Macklemore & Lewis, like Lamar, are nominated for seven trophies, and the performers are competing in five of the same categories.

The year marks a high note for hip-hop since album of the year and best new artist both feature two rap acts. OutKast and Lauryn Hill are the only two rap performers to win the coveted album of the year; Hill and Arrested Development are the only rap-based stars to take home best new artist.

A rapper has never won song or record of the year.

Jay Z, keeping up the decade-long Grammy tradition of rappers leading in nominations, was the night's frontrunner with nine.

For top album, Macklemore & Lewis and Lamar's platinum-selling debuts, The Heist and "good kid, m.A.A.d city," will battle Taylor Swift's earth-shattering sales force Red, Daft Punk's electronic adventure Random Access Memories and the surprise nominee - The Blessed Unrest from the piano-playing Sara Bareilles.

Macklemore & Lewis' Same Love is up for song of the year alongside No. 1 Billboard hits, including Katy Perry's Roar, Lorde's Royals, Locked Out of Heaven by Bruno Mars and Pink's Just Give Me a Reason, featuring Nate Ruess of fun. Lorde and Mars' songs repeat in record of the year, and will be up against Imagine Dragons' Radioactive and two songs that feature Pharrell Williams - Daft Punk's Get Lucky and Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines, which has sold 6.6 million tracks and is the biggest song of 2013.

Lorde is just one of the top females to hit the Grammy stage Sunday: Beyonce, Madonna, Carole King, Pink, Swift and Perry will also perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The men are showing up, too, and performers include Metallica, Willie Nelson, Dave Grohl and Nine Inch Nails. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, who has two nominations, will sing separately on the telecast.

"I love it because you see a lot of people that you'll never see anywhere else and you'll see a lot of old friends," Starr said.

RHOA Reality TV star APOLLO NIDA, Charged with Bank Fraud and Identity Theft! Wow!

Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Apollo Nida surrendered to US Marshalls yesterday on charges of bank fraud and aggravated identity fraud. Nida appeared in front of a US magistrate judge at US District Court in downtown Atlanta.

Apparently the reality TV show paychecks weren’t enough for him to provide for his growing family with local celebrity attorney Phaedra Parks. Sources say Nida has been quietly committing major bank fraud since he was released from Georgia State prison back in 2009. Despite being a TV star, Nida never officially retired from his life of crime.

If you recall, Nida served time in federal prison for altering VIN numbers on vehicles and other sundry criminal activities. His wife, Phaedra, represented him in that case, which was first reported by Sandrarose.com.

Update: Nida appeared in front of US District Judge Brill yesterday and he was granted a pretrial bond. This is significant because he is currently on state parole in Georgia, and due to the seriousness of his crime the charges usually trigger a state parole violation unless he is cooperating with the government. Is the government planning to prosecute his wife, Phaedra, as well? How much did Phaedra really know? Remember what that book author Angela Stanton said about her?

The Girls You Hook Up With Vs. The Girls You Marry

The girl you only hook up with hates kids and never wants to be around them.

This shows that this woman isn’t looking beyond herself or at her future. A woman who does not want to have kids is a still all about herself and isn’t ready for serious things.

The woman you marry is great with kids and eventually plans on having them.

Any girl who is good with kids that are not her own will make great marriage material. If she demonstrates a certain affection towards children, it shows that she will be a great mother, but more than that, it shows that she is selfless and is not always worried about having the attention on herself.

The girl you only hook up with has never cooked a meal in her life and she expects to eat out every day.

Girls like this come with a sense of entitlement, take out is their only source of food. I’m not say a woman has to cook specifically — all people should — it’s just economical. In the long run, this can become quite expensive and prove to be a huge burden on your pocket.

The woman you marry doesn’t have to cook like a professional chef, but she is comfortable in the kitchen and CHOOSES to cook.

Any woman that knows how to cook and does so out of the kindness of her own heart is truly marriage material. There is nothing better than coming home from a long day’s work and having a wife who appreciates you by cooking a tasty meal. Also a woman who cooks will save you a bunch of money in the long run, as you wouldn’t constantly have to spend money paying for meals.

The girl you hook up with is high maintenance and is not one bit domesticated.

Some girls are entitled and they expect you to coddle and to take care of them just like their parents did. These type of girls are a high maintenance and they make for horrible wives in the long run. No one wants to deal with someone who only asks for stuff, but never gives anything in return.

The woman you marry is domesticated enough and understands that marriage is all about teamwork.

What is a marriage if you constantly have to take care of your partner? A woman who has no problem pulling her own weight is wifey material. This will make the experience worth your while. Now this doesn’t mean you go around making your wife clean up after you, but if she wants to live in a tidy home, you both need to be able to do your part.

The girl you only hook up with is an attention-hungry social climber.

Girls like this make horrible wives, as they will only marry people for status and once they find someone of a higher status, they are out the door. Women of this nature have a high divorce rate, but we can’t knock their hustle on the alimony front. Many women like this end up on the Bravo network casting for “The Real Housewives” show.

The woman you marry couldn’t care less who she’s with as long as she’s comfortable and not disrespected.

If you find a woman who is comfortable in any social setting and isn’t only about climbing the social ladder, then you have found a gem. A woman like this will stick by your side no matter what, just so long as she is comfortable and doesn’t feel disrespected. This is a woman that you need by your side as she is here to stay for the long run. Who wants to deal with a social climber that requires constant maintenance and the stress of her leaving you if you don’t meet her social demands?

The girl you only hook up with has no intention of ever getting a job.

No healthy marriage can be fostered by a girl who doesn’t pull her own weight. If she has had more boyfriends than jobs, then you are in trouble. A good marriage is about mutual contribution, while this girl might be content with hanging out by the pool all day, drinking mimosas and popping Xanax while you are working hard.

The woman you marry wants to have a career she enjoys.

If  your wife is enthusiastic about working, then you have struck gold. This shows that she understands responsibility and that you guys are a team. She will never leave you to fend for yourself. Although no one is forcing her to get a job, she does it with her own free will, which is truly a testament to the kind of woman she is.

20 Successful Habits I Learned Working With Two Billionaires (part 1)

PAUL C BRUNSON - Educator, Life Coach

20 Successful Habits I Learned Working For Two Billionaires (Part 1)

I have spent decades “being educated” – in college, graduate school, numerous professional certifications, and now a PhD program. All of that schooling and training helped shape the person I am today, but at no point in my life has there been a more profound education than my time working for Enver Yucel and Oprah Winfrey.

20 successful habits I learned from Oprah Winfrey and Enver Yucel

Enver and Oprah are two extraordinary people. And on top of that, they’re both billionaires. On the surface, they appear to be totally different people. They are in different industries, have different family structures, practice different religions, and speak different languages. However, once you get past their written biographies and dig deeper, you will notice they possess many of the same successful habits.

I had the opportunity to work with both Oprah and Enver for 6 years collectively and those were, hands down, the best professional experiences of my life. I worked my ass off for them and in doing so absorbed everything I could.

It’s my honor to share with you what I learned from them. Here is Part 1 of the 20 successful habits I learned working for two billionaires:
1) Invest in Yourself

This is a very simple concept, but something you would think someone who has “made it” would stop doing. Not at all for these two. I saw them both spend a significant amount of time dedicating their resources to self-development (whether it be a new language, exercise, social media classes, etc). The moment you stop investing in yourself is the moment you have written off future dividends in life.

2) Be Curious…About Everything

What the average person sees as mundane or overly complicated is not viewed the same way with a billionaire mindset. I once had a 30 minute conversation with Enver about the height of the curbs in Washington DC versus Istanbul, Turkey. Billionaires are incredibly curious; what the rest of the world thinks is a problem and complains about — that’s what these people go and work on.

3) Surround Yourself With “Better” People

I hope this is why they kept me around :-). Seriously, I never knew my bosses to keep anyone less-than-stellar in their inner circle. There were many times I thought to myself, “Damn, they have dream-teams built around them.” Jim Rohn had it right, “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”

4) Never Eat Alone

The last time I had dinner with Enver, as well as the last time I ate dinner with Oprah, there were easily 15 people at our tables, respectively. Coincidence? While most of us derive our key information from blogs or the newspaper, power players get their information from the source (other power players), directly. However, just because you can’t call up the Obamas and break bread with them doesn’t mean eating with others in your circle doesn’t carry value. In one of my favorite reads of the last few years called “Never Eat Alone”, author Keith Ferrazzi breaks down how you can identify “information brokers” to dine with you. I’ve seen first hand how enormous the benefits are of this strategy.

5) Take Responsibility For Your Losses

I was working for Oprah during the time she was taking heat from the media about poor network ratings. I was also working for Enver during the closing of one of his prized divisions. What I witnessed them both do in response was powerful. Opposed to covering the losses up with fancy PR tactics, both stepped to the stage and said in essence “I own it and I’m going to fix it” and dropped the mic. Guess what? They sure did fix things (It’s widely noted Oprah’s network is realizing ratings gold and Enver’s assets have probably doubled since the division closing).

6) Understand The Power Of “Leverage”

This is something that was quite a shock to me. From afar, a billionaire appears to be someone who is a master at everything. But, in truth, they’re specialists in one or a few areas and average or subpar at everything else. So, how do they get so much done? Leverage! They do what they do best and get others to do the rest . Here’s a great article on leverage. Keep in mind I see this done with wealthy people and their money all of the time – they use OPM (other people’s money) for most or all of their projects.

7) Take No Days Off (Completely)

I recall going on vacation with Enver several times, yachting up and down the southwestern coast of Turkey (also known as the blue voyage). Sounds ballerific, right? No doubt we had a great time, but mixed in with all that swimming and backgammon was discussion of business, discussion of strategy, planning and plotting. The best way I can describe this habit is thinking about your business or your idea like your literal baby. No matter your distance, you don’t stop thinking of him/her (and after just having a second son, I can attest to this).

8) Focus On Experiences vs. Material Possessions

When you have money, your toys are big. However, the vast majority of money I saw spent on their “leisure” was on actual experiences versus the typical car, jewelry, and clothes we’re familiar with seeing in music videos and gossip blogs. I recall one time at dinner with Oprah, I spotted a table of about 20 girls off to the side. I later found out Ms. Winfrey was treating some of her graduating girls from her school in South Africa to dinner in NYC. Experiences create memories, and memories are priceless.

9) Take Enormous Risks

This is another one of those successful habits every entrepreneur can attest to. A matter of fact, Entreprenuer.com created a great infographic outlining commonalities of the world’s billionaires and one of the most prominent was this characteristic: billionaires are not adverse to risk. What intrigues me even more about Enver and Oprah was that even at their high financial status and success level, they still possessed a willingness to risk their most precious asset (their name and legacy) on new and bolder projects. If you’re not taking risk, you’re not making moves!

10) Don’t Go At It Alone

Nothing great in life is achieved alone. Especially in business, success isn’t a solo act. This character trait is akin to “surrounding yourself with better people.” It takes teamwork to make the dream work.

What I witnessed from working for Enver and Oprah were characteristics and successful habits that not only apply to business “wins,” but also translate to general life success. I sincerely hope the tips I’ve shared here will inspire you to create (or maintain) great habits for your success. If you’re ready to learn more now and want to get my take on how successful business people build personal brands and an audience, read this! Otherwise, stay tuned for Part 2!

How are you putting these successful habits to work? Let’s talk about it!

DAMON DASH, making his comeback slowly but surely!

West Virginia WATER still contaminated, how long will it last?

CHEMICALS in West Virginia's WATER but the water is still contaminated

The level of odorous chemical in West Virginians' water dropped Friday, but not enough for authorities to lift a warning to avoid drinking, cooking or bathing with it or to give a clear idea as to when things will change.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin described the situation in nine counties Friday night as "pretty bad," both for residents being told the only thing they should do with their running water is flush their toilets and schools, restaurants, hotels and other businesses forced to close.
One bit of good news is tests on the affected water supply, which are being conducted on an hourly basis, show "the chemical level is declining."
"But we're just not sure exactly how long it's going to take before it's acceptable to lift the do-not-drink ban," the governor told CNN.
Much of the anger centers around the coal-industry company from which the chemical leak occurred. And there's also frustration among some -- including Danny Jones, the mayor of West Virginia's most populated city and capital, Charleston -- that the water company trying to deal with the resulting mess still doesn't have a timeline for when things will return to normal.
"It's caused us more problems than you could ever imagine," Jones said Friday night, pointing out people can't do things like wash their hands after going to bathroom or wash their clothes.
"... It's a prison from which we would like to be released."
Utility official on water: 'I can't say it is safe'
The crisis began Thursday, when residents of Kanawha County reported a foul odor -- similar to licorice -- in the air.
The Kanawha County Fire Department and the state Department of Environmental Protection that day traced that smell to a leak from a 35,000-gallon storage tank along the Elk River.

The chemical had overflowed a containment area around the tank run by Freedom Industries, then migrated over land and through the soil into the river. The leak happened about a mile upriver from the impacted West Virginia American Water Co. plant.
After concluding the tap water was contaminated late Thursday afternoon, a stop-use warning went out to customers in Boone, Cabell, Clay, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Putnam and Roane counties.
West Virginia American Water's president Jeff McIntyre said Friday he didn't believe the substance -- 4-methylcyclohexane methanol -- was still flowing. But that doesn't mean the situation will be resolved soon.
What is 4-methylcyclohexane methanol?
"It is not intended to be in the water (or) distribution system," McIntyre said. "... Once it's in there, there's no more treatment for it."
While there haven't been reported widespread sicknesses, the ordeal is having a big impact.

Kanawha County Commission president Kent Carper told reporters Friday more than 300,000 people have been affected. Tomblin gave a lower estimate -- saying it was "way over 100,000 (but) we don't have an exact number yet of people ... without water."
Businesses -- including 15 McDonald's in the area, according to their ownership group -- have shut down. Hospitals have taken emergency measures to conserve water. And residents have been scrambling, as evidenced by empty shelves and worries at home.
"It's all very hectic," said Patricia Pearl of Charleston. "You don't even want to go to the grocery store. I think everyone is in a panic."
Emergency rooms busy, businesses closed
The emergency's ripple effects included the closure Friday of the state Supreme Court of Appeals in Charleston, courts in Boone and Lincoln counties, and the cancellation of classes at West Virginia State University.
In addition to shuttering her shop Flowers & More on Friday -- usually her busiest day -- Pearl noted other ripple effects, like how her 60-year-old husband's physical therapy session tied to a recent knee surgery was canceled.

"The problem is that no one seems to know when we'll have the water restored," she said.
First responders and hospitals saw a rush of activity after the alert went out. Carper said more than 1,000 calls were placed in four or five hours to the 911 center, 24 of them for emergency medical services -- five of which led to people being taken to hospitals.
Water company spokeswoman Laura Jordan urged people to get medical attention "if they are feeling something ... isn't right."
Many -- perhaps too many -- did just that.
"Our emergency rooms have been very busy with individuals unnecessarily concerned and presenting no symptoms," said Charleston Area Medical Center.
The restrictions affected the hospital in other ways, too. It put into place linen conservation and alternative cleaning methods and turned away all but emergency patients.
Daniel Stewart sued the water utility and Freedom Industries, saying his kidney transplant surgery was canceled because of the ordeal "forcing (him) to undergo dialysis, pain and suffering and continued illness due to his renal failure and other medical damages."
West Virginia American Water "failed to maintain an appropriate emergency response plan," Stewart claimed, while Freedom "failed to properly maintain and store its chemicals."
A lawsuit was filed Friday by a man whose scheduled kidney transplant was canceled due to the water issue, said attorney Jesse Forbes said.
CNN reached out to the water company about the lawsuit.
"West Virginia American Water is not focused on litigation at this time. Our focus is on our customers and providing safe adequate water supplies," the company said in a statement.
Leaked chemical used to wash coal
Freedom Industries is feeling the heat from others as well.

President Gary Southern tried several times to walk away from a press conference Friday evening, saying "it has been an extremely long day," only to be called back by insistent reporters -- including one who noted how long a day it has been for all the West Virginians now without drinkable water or a full explanation as to why.
"This incident is extremely unfortunate and unanticipated," Southern said. "... This has been a very, very taxing process."

Freedom's crippled steel tank is about a mile upriver from the West Virginia American Water plant, according to McIntyre. According to Carper, the county official, it's part of a former Pennzoil refinery dating back to the 1930s or 1940s. Jones, Charleston's mayor, said he believes "the chemicals went through (holes in a retaining) wall."
Southern said two Freedom employees noticed material leaking from a storage tank into a dyke around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. They contacted authorities and began the cleanup process -- including hauling away the chemical still in the tank and vacuuming up some in the nearby ground.
"We have mitigated the risk, we believe, in terms of further material leaving this facility," said the head of Freedom, which supplies products for the coal-mining industry.

Southern said he couldn't say how much of 4-methylcyclohexane methanol -- which United Mine Workers spokesman Phil Smith explained is used to wash coal before it goes to market -- leaked, only that it was under 35,000 gallons. Tomblin said a maximum of 5,000 gallons of the chemical seeped out.
The Freedom Industries president downplayed the chemical's health effects, saying it has "very, very low toxicity" and opining it poses no danger to the public.
West Virginia American Water and government officials have a different take, as evidenced by the stop-use warning.
As McIntrye said, "We don't know that the water is not safe, but I can't say it is safe."

The federal Environmental Protection Agency -- which doesn't yet have an "official role" in the response -- has taken no enforcement actions against Freedom Industries during the past five years, agency spokeswoman Alisha Johnson said.

West Virginia's Department of Environmental Protection ordered Freedom to take everything out of its 11 remaining above-ground storage tanks. This came hours after the department issued a "cease operations order" for the company, saying it could not receive any additional material until it addresses the effects of the leak and proves its structures are sound.

'I do not know how long this will last'

The rush now is on to fully assess and address the problem, and perhaps press criminal charges because of it.
Having declared a state of emergency affecting the nine involved counties, Tomblin urged West Virginians to look out for one another -- especially small children and the elderly.
To that point, he announced a "call to action drive" through Friday evening at the State Capitol to collect items such as bottled water, sanitizer, liquid baby formula, paper and plastic plates and utensils for those in need. This is in addition to water stations set up in malls, churches, high schools, recreation centers and fire departments.

The federal government has gotten involved as well, with President Barack Obama signed an emergency declaration authorizing the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate disaster relief efforts.
FEMA said Friday that it was sending 75 trucks -- each carrying about 4,900 gallons of water -- to the area. Tomblin said this federal help -- for now, mostly in the form of cases of bottled water -- is helpful, as are the contributions from many donating businesses.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin said he and other federal authorities is looking into what happened, telling CNN Friday that "even a negligent release of this kind could be a criminal violation."
"It's really too early to tell whether criminal charges could be brought" against Freedom, he said Friday. "... We're going to want to figure out just exactly what occurred and when ... But right now, obviously, what we're trying to do is get people's water back on."

Meanwhile, West Virginia American Water is working intently as well, including teaming with DuPont and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to determine the contamination level. Jordan said the system would be flushed and may be returned to service in zones, but she would not speculate when that might occur.
The water company also has provided 12 tanker trucks filled with water, and bought four tractor-trailer loads of bottled water for distribution to those in need, McIntyre said.
Tomblin noted that "there is no shortage of bottled water," but urged people to see a doctor immediately if they come down with nausea, dizziness, or eye or skin irritation. And he didn't make any promises as to when this emergency would end.
"I do not know how long this will last," the governor said.

U.S. Drinking Water Widely Contaminated

A three-year study of the nation's drinking water quality has found more than 200 unregulated chemicals in the tap water of 45 states.

The Environmental Working Group analysis of 20 million tap water quality tests found a total of 316 contaminants -- including industrial solvents, weed killers, refrigerants and the rocket fuel component perchlorate -- in water supplied to the public between 2004 and 2009.

U.S. EPA regulates 114 of those pollutants, setting maximum legal levels that water utilities achieved 92 percent of the time, according to the study.

EWG frets that the remaining chemicals, which have no mandatory federal safety standards, can come in potentially toxic combinations for long-term consumption.

"Utilities do the best job that they can treating a big problem with limited resources, but we must do better," said Jane Houlihan, the group's senior vice president for research. "It is not uncommon for people to drink tap water laced with 20 or 30 chemical contaminants. This water may be legal, but it raises serious health concerns."

The pollutants derive from a wealth of sources, including agriculture, factory discharges, consumer products, urban runoff and wastewater treatment plants.

The annual water quality reports that utilities are required to send customers provide a partial picture, the study says, as they contain no information on unregulated chemicals. They also provide average levels of most contaminants, which do not reveal if there were short periods when chemicals spiked past legal limits.

EPA in September said it was considering regulating 104 additional chemicals in tap water, including pesticides, commercial chemicals, disinfection byproducts, and for the first time, pharmaceuticals.

The list was the longest ever compiled by the agency under a 1996 law requiring it to evaluate possible tap-water pollutants every five years and make regulatory determinations for at least five of them.

EPA said it will continue to research the contaminants and will determine by 2013 whether to propose drinking water regulations for some of them.

The EWG study says the nation should adopt new policies for drinking water that include regulating more contaminants and spending more money on measures that prevent pollution.

While water utilities across the country spend more than $50 billion a year to treat drinking water, the nation spends $207 million a year to protect source waters and prevent pollution from sources such as urban runoff, the study says.

The report recommends investing more money in conserving land in buffer zones around public water supplies.

It also suggests that EPA "greatly expand" requirements for testing water for unregulated contaminants and that Congress provide more money to get the testing done.

Blood, Sweat and Heels, 1st episode

REALITY CHECK

I'll start by saying, I'm completely hooked on these semi scripted reality shows. You can learn a lot from these shows. Like how to embarrass yourself and not even know you're doing it, how to contradict yourself on several occasions, how to completely dumb out for cash, lol! I can't wait to be on one, there I said it.

It's obvious people have been watching the growth of these reality shows, because the one thing the newbees are conscious of is their wardrobe and make up, chilllld Jocelyn from L&H was a hot mess, and so was Scrappy's baby momma Erika. A little birdie said during Erika's 1st season they had to pre-clean if that's a word, her roach infested house so the roaches wouldn't get caught in the production equipment. No wonder Scrappy always had the "Bitch please" look and tone when she started acting up, he was the reason should could even act out like that. Ok my bad, lol always wanted to say that.

Now on to Blood, Sweat and Tears, the new Bravo reality series. This show features 6 Black women all professionals. However, no matter how successful, present is the catty attitude, name calling, immature energy that plaques most women in groups. It's the first episode, too soon to give is the reason why we'll actually watch more than two shows, but here's what I got from the first episode.

Ok, Daisy already annoys me, pushing that dated ass blonde idea of how a real woman deals with her man. By snooping through his things, treating him like a child, emasculating him, child please. She's a grown woman who appears to be ambitious so why short change yourself where it really matters. Smh, get yo life, I can't take these extra for nothing chicks.

Mica, well she seems a little jaded and covers up her insecurity with over talking others, and sarcasm. I think I heard her call two different women sheltered so umm, sounds like someone has her own issues. I guess she fought the good fight, because she found out the man she was in love with was with someone else for 20 years at the time they were dating. I'd be devastated, angry, and evil, and in that order. Well she's with him so we'll see how that goes.

Melyssa Ford is on to the next phase in her life, and I'm glad she can make the transition, because some people get stuck and can't move. Please, she so onto the next she calls herself an ex video MODEL, LOL.. MODEL.. Ok Melyssa if you like it I love it, but that's not what they were calling it back then. I heard she's had some hardship so I do sympathize with her, so girl sell some damn condos now that you're a real estate agent.

Demetria Lucas - I like this girl, she's an author, strong willed, and a lil spunky. Now it may work for that chocolate drop of a man of hers, but that personality may be a little too strong for this dainty crew. Demetria was not feeling the idea that women should belittle themselves to some degree to keep your man, then blogged about it. Well, the rest of the ladies are not happy about it, so next week I'm on it!

Geneva.. Well I need her to not dress like she's on her way to Mary J Blige concert with her high school mushroom. Waiting for her to matter. LOL.

Brie - ? I'm just saying...

Well the dumbest comment on the show is from Daisy.. How do you get mad at a blogger for blogging about your brunch, claiming it was a personal conversation.
I'm sorry, Daisy is holding a microphone hosting Sunday brunch on the roof top of the hotel with about a hundred people downtown Brooklyn with about 4 cameras in your face. Do you hear yourself?

Well let's see if this show turns up the second episode, because right now, I can't get that hour back. smdh.

New RICK ROSS f/JAY-Z "THE DEVIL'S A LIE"

KRS-One Threatens MC Funky J [LISTEN]

I love KRS-One if for nothing else but for being my top 7 emcees in the world! NOW, the other thing people may not know about the Blast Master Krs, is he's no punk! It's seems like someone took his wit for wimp and well.. You tell me..

After listening to this, Chunky J, is a sucker ass dude. You called him with the intent to record him and now this guy has a solid threat on tape. You can tell J is on some set up ish.. He's calling him Teacher, trying to egg Kris on to say certain things, this is bitchism at it's best in 2014. Well I think J knows the real now if he didn't before. If Kris didn't come after J for his 20k that was taken as well, then he should've left well enough alone. He didn't want to go straight BITCH by going the police but he did make sure if anything happesn to him, there's a clue as to what could've happened. SMH.

Snoop Dogg and Secretary Of State John Kerry

Snoop Dogg may be the most recognizable rapper alive and it seems like there's never been a personality he couldn't charm.
The 42-year-old artist who is currently up for a Grammy Award under his moniker Snoop Lion, recently attended the Kennedy Center Honors in the nation's capital at its most notable builiding: The White House.
As a distinguished guest, you'll receive distinguished company and Snoop was filmed in a brief but entertaining clip having casual conversation with the Secretary of State, John Kerry.
It's not clear what the two executives were chatting about but body language speaks volumes. As their conversation concluded, Mr. Kerry proceeded to give Snoop a pound to which the Reincarnated MC looked visibly happy to return.
Shortly after, he posted the Instagram video stating, "Boss life. me n john kerry at d white house !!! #reincarnated #khc." Not to be outdone, the third-highest ranking official in the country acknowledged the statement and retweeted him with his initials, "Between us we've sold 30 million-JK"
It may not be a cure for world hunger or even a bold stride in the legalization of marijuana (something Snoop would undoubtedly campaign for wholeheartedly) but it's still a pretty cool movement to see the admiration Hip-Hop.
Peep the flip to see the video of the exchange as well as both men's e-dap to each other.

CHAKA KHAN Bobble Head.. noooooo

Is this what the game has done to the legends? Doing whatever to compete? Disclaimer, lol. CHAKA KHAN is one of the greatest vocalist I've ever heard in all my life, and her songs are amazing! There are very few that could romp wit she today, maybe one simply phenomenal.
However, this pic right here is not the business. I know it's not easy the older you get, but a trainer and great eating regimen and we would not be having this conversation.  smooches mwah..

Ludacris and Dwayne Wade father children outside of their relationships!

Here's the T, on these two super star celebs! I'll never understand the carelessness.

Dwayne Wade's new Baby Mother!

TMZ Sports has obtained the birth certificate for Dwyane Wade's brand new son ... which shows the kid's name is Xavier Zechariah Wade ... and he was only born last month.

Of course, Wade recently acknowledged that he had a kid with a woman who isn't his fiancee Gabrielle Union. There are reports that Wade and Union were on a break when the child was conceived.

Now, we know the kid was born in Los Angeles on Nov. 10, 2013 ... just 6 weeks before Wade popped the question to Gabrielle, who he's been dating since 2009.

According to the birth certificate, Wade's baby mama is 30-year-old Aja Metoyer. The details of their relationship are basically unknown, except the obvious fact they have a kid together.

Aja has two other children by Damon Wayan's Jr.

And then there's LUDACRIS'S situation...

"I CAN'T PAY MUCH, BUT I'M THE DADDY" smh..

LUDACRISLudacris didn't use protection when he banged some chick, but he's taking precautions now ... because he wants to legally establish his paternity and then set a hard limit on his child support.

Ludacris has been in a long-term relationship with Eudoxie -- pronounced kinda like the book in the Bible (don't ask). But Luda took a break from Eudo long enough to get Tamika Fuller preggo.

Cai Bella Bridges was born December 9th. And here's where the plot thickens.

It seems Ludacris knows he's the daddy, but he's worried Tamika will go in for the kill. So he's filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- claiming he's only pulling in $25,842.41 a month on average. Under Georgia law ... his monthly child support payment would be set at $1,754.66.

FYI ... Forbes says Luda is worth $12 mil ... but that seem real low.

And then Luda wants to run from the child support, well I don't feel sorry for you!

Let me start by saying NO ONE IS PERFECT! Ok, now on to the bullshit!

SERIOUSLY??? You may call it cheating or slipping up but I call it stupid, and immature. Grow up, this isn't college ball, and Ludacris you did not start rapping yesterday. Time to check yourself so we can create great relationships again and show these up and coming young celebs that we do eventually grow up and take life serious.

It's one thing to cheat on your significant other, but to impregnate another woman while doing so is totally irresponsible. I will never put blame in one place, but when you're a celebrity or a star athlete you have to be extra careful when having sexual intercourse outside your main relationship.
Today we are so motivated and sucker punched by image that we forget our reality. It's clear that it doesn't matter how bad the main girlfriend is and that's bad meaning good, it's clear men can still stray, and go hard for the next chick. While the saying "men will be men" seems to plaque the whole monogamous idea, the answer to that is "know better do better" which most men are familiar with but choose to work with their cravings as apposed to their intuition which is their truth. Now not only do men have an issue with this so do women, but in this case I'm speaking of the male counter in light of these two situations.

It's 2014, it's time to put respect back into the relationship. We all want what we want but don't want to give anything to get it. We need for the other person to understand us and be obligated to our needs, but the same must be given back. Today we are so selfish and insensitive to others needs, which in turn causes cheating, unhealthy conversations between the two involved, lying and other unhealthy habits that tend to eventually lead to mistrust and onto the b word, the Breakup! I understand things aren't perfect, but sometimes we have the ONE and don't know it because we become so picky as if we have lots of choices out there for the ONE.
Yes, we have lots of choices for dates, sex, tricking and whatever else, but our choices for co parenting, sharing happiness and grief, finances, and being understand, the choices are slim to none.

It's time to be grown like our parents were, they kept the family together even if marriage wasn't on the table. Yes there was bickering and disagreements but for the most part, the woman was allowed to be just that,a woman, and the man keeps the love flowing in the family by showing strength in all areas. He doesn't get so frustrated by a woman's tantrum that it makes him go outside the relationship, and if he does trust the other woman is just that, the other woman. I remember my father hearing my mother throw a fits about something or the other, and then figuring out how to fix it so his woman would not be so mad about whatever the situation was.

Today, men throw quiet tantrums, instead of communicating with your woman men shut down and don't say anything, which to me is a waste of valuable time that could be used to mend the problem. Silence is golden, but it can also result in nothing! When we start cheating either physically or intimately without sex with another, and our partner becomes aware of it, it puts that big black cloud in the air, that no one likes to see. TRUST, LOYALTY are now on the table, and it's almost impossible to fix those things unless the love is so strong the cheatee decides to give things another chance. However, there will always be that stain whenever you walk out the door of "where are they really going, who are they texting, who did they have to walk outside to talk to on the phone" My point is this, if you can help it, don't fuck up a good thing even if the good thing seems bad at the time, look deeper than your pride and ego, and use your heart to guide you. To me the only real sucker is the one who can't admit that they are a sucker for the person they love.
